Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid!

I’m telling you the absence of REAL news coverage should scare the hell out of you! Like it or lump it people should be screaming for the truth! Those of you that have expressed your fear like Matt Damon—don’t you want to know what you’re afraid of or do you just want to be afraid with your head in the sand??? Guess what you leave exposed in that position?

Astroturfing Palin & Race-baiting, & more from TheAnchoressOnline:

I didn’t see ANY major coverage of Palin speaking to 60,000 people yesterday, did you? Nope. She draws a crowd like that – without a band to bring people out for the free concert, and it goes mostly unnoted. The power of the press – since their credibility is destroyed – now rests in their ability to NOT cover something, and therefore effectively omit it from the national dialog, which it still cues.

60k people or even 25k people—crickets are the sound you hear from mainstream!

Palinmania: 60,000 turn out for event in Florida? from Hot Air!

Exhibit A in the case of why even I can’t get too depressed about that anti-Palin focus group in Florida the ’sphere was buzzing about yesterday. Granted, the event was held in a GOP stronghold; granted, Team Maverick’s crowd estimates have been “problematic” in the past, although this one comes from a fire chief on the scene, not the campaign; granted, 60,000 is probably a high-end figure, with another fire official and several reporters who were there pegging it as closer to 25,000. Even so, per the last link, consider this: As a sitting president, Dubya only managed to pull 15,000 when he showed up four years ago.

Read George Orwell’s 1984—it will blow your mind!
