Click
I’m not sure why this movie got bad press or did poorly at the box office. I’m not sure why I’ve never seen it or why it’s never been recommended to me.
Maybe it’s because it’s Adam Sandler and we’ve seen his shtick before. Maybe it’s because it will make you cry—and boo-hoo-hoo, we can’t have that! Maybe it’s because it hits too close to home and we don’t like to look at ourselves (and the people we love) in the mirror…
Whatever the reason, man up, and see this flick!
Family Man has some of the same qualities as Click, the message here is different, but just as important as far as I’m concerned.
I will be adding this movie to my permanent collection and recommending it highly. Any media that can evoke emotions and thoughts like this is a keeper!
It’s not in your face from the beginning, you expect to be laughing and you do laugh—but like a deer tick, you might feel irritation from the bite, you might even see the red ring indicator symptom, and whether you do or do not doesn’t matter because it ends up messing with your insides when left untreated.
Christopher Walken is, what can you say, Christopher Walken—he’s just Gooooooood! And Adam Sandler is such a great talent! Yes, he is Adam Sandler, but you just don’t see it coming from him and when he does deliver it’s just welcomed.
Kate Beckensale is fabulous to look at (for a man or woman), any actress could have done this part, but why not KB? Like I say she’s fabulous to look at—do you want to argue with me?
The tunes are right there just like in Wedding Singer! Back to the 80’s and early 90’s and I have to believe Adam Sandler had something to do with the soundtrack and it is amazing! I would have never guessed at the time that I would appreciate the songs from that era as much as I do today. GREAT songs!
Click is solid through and through and a must see by anyone who isn’t afraid of being human and feeling feelings.
