Fairness and Disneyland

Published by iChef Politikos at 9:02 pm under All, News, Op / Ed, P S A, Politikos

I would like to introduce you to a couple, 80 years in age—Residents of Florida, both taxpayers, both have worked hard their entire lives. They have earned their right to vote! Their votes must be counted!

“How dare you question our legitimacy! Racist!!!”

Guess who we're voting for...

Guess who we're voting for???

Yes, guess who they’re voting for… They are entertainers after all…

I can't believe my luck!

I can't believe how lucky I am! I'm so high!

This is the CHANGE you can count on!

…my segue to my discussion on fairness—I was speaking to some colleagues this morning about fairness and grading by teachers. Unfair grading practices is something that I encountered when I was a child. Ah, childhood memories… I remember even as a child saying I never want to relive these years again. I would have to redo all this work and problems already passed (first grade, second grade, third…), go through all this pain (dentist, needles), the social ills (being crushed by friends and love interests) relive failures along the way… You get the idea. Well, the memory this morning is from 5th grade. It’s when I found out (I could prove) that people in positions of power (outside the family—of course) have favorites meaning it’s not a fair playing field. This is a crook that has stuck in my craw like forever.

The story I was listening to was that a mother found out some years ago that a teacher who required these complex projects from her son. She later found out that the teacher didn’t even look at them—she just gave everybody an A or B.

I was transported back to the 5th grade in Mrs. So-in-So’s class. She had her pets and it was obvious to your humble narrator that I was not one of them. I was friends with the pets but this association didn’t help boost my grade or benefit me at all—it did damage my psyche a wee-bit though… So much that I speak of it to this day.

I tested my theory out by working on a project with her number one pet. We handed in identical work—IDENTICAL. He received an A-, I received a C.

Something is wrong here I demanded! I would not be denied my right to fairness! I was swiftly denied justice by the same person in power who would have had to admit her bias. I should have known then that this behavior wasn’t reserved for the classroom…

Knowing never made it easier, but it did make it clear to me that I would not allow favoritism, bias, and an unfair playground to be anything I would ever participate in—and when I can help expose or prevent it from happening to others I would!

I get emails from people on the left instructing me to carefully discuss ACORN’s voter “registration” fraud, it’s not “voter fraud.”

Please, kids. It is absolutely meant to be registration fraud so vast that it cannot be contained, in order than enough these fraudulent votes may (and are already being) cast. How can you feel good about this?

I have no faith in this electoral outcome, not in Ohio, not in Pennsylvania. The integrity of our electoral system has been completely broken down by people like Ohio SecState Jennifer Brunner and others.
