Give PEBO a Chance!
Update: 12/08/08
Liberals voice concerns about Obama By CAROL E. LEE & NIA-MALIKA HENDERSON
Liberals are growing increasingly nervous – and some just flat-out angry – that President-elect Barack Obama seems to be stiffing them on Cabinet jobs and policy choices.
Obama has reversed pledges to immediately repeal tax cuts for the wealthy and take on Big Oil. He’s hedged his call for a quick drawdown in Iraq. And he’s stocking his White House with anything but stalwarts of the left.

Can we please hope and pray that good things come from PEBO (President Elect Barack Obama) It serves everyone of us in the USA for Obama to be successful! It doesn’t help if he pushes us further down, just so you can say—told you so! Great, now we’re in a worse place, but you were right—Yay!!!
Like it or not Obama is THE PRESIDENT ELECT OF THE UNITED STATES! It’s in all our best interests for him to be successful! Let him do something first! But if and when he does do something—if he does send us in the wrong direction, I promise, I’ll Be there!
Hannity is starting to get on my nerves and I have to say a Hannity without Colmes could be a very bad thing! I mean I get the point over and over, but when you start sounding like the idiots on the left that are so transparent… You already have me—don’t lose me because you don’t make a solid argument. I’m beating the drum, but don’t lose the critical thinkers out there that help spread the message when they believe the argument.
- If Obama plans on opening the borders or an amnesty program for all illegals here I will be there to protest!
- If Obama raises taxes I will disagree and call him on it.
- If Obama Forces (open) card check elections I will be there to support opposition! GatewayPundit: 81% of Americans Oppose Card Check– But Obama Still Supports It
- If Obama wants free healthcare for all, being paid by all of our taxes, I will be there.
- If Obama pushes Cap and Trade I will be there!
- If Obama prevents clean coal projects and put the coal industry out of business I will be there!
- If Obama, denies or mekes it prohibitive for new Nuclear plants I will be there!
But until then, I hope PEOB finds a way out of this financial disaster for all of us. I hope he helps with our image abroad. I hope he keeps us protected from harm from all that want to harm and KILL us. I hope he provides business with ways to employ more people. I hope for a solution on Healthcare, I hope for a solution on Social Security, I hope for a solution that I can get behind!
This is not a picture of Obama!
Over The Line Photoshop? nicedeb Not so fast… Is seeing believing?
Until he proves to be a Marxist or Stalinist, in his capacity as POTUS telling us he will be, is flat out wrong and unpatriotic! We can’t continue the Left’s vitriolic rhetoric, for example comparing Bush to Hitler or that Bush is a war criminal and the US policies are against humanity. That type of ridiculous over the top rhetoric hurts us as a country—to our own people and the people around the world, both of which that don’t know any better than to believe the words they hear and repeat as truth!
PajamasMedia: The Left’s Delusional Fantasies About Obama
What is surprising is that Melanie Phillips actually seems to think that they are correct- that Obama is a stealth Marxist whose appointments are sham fronts meant to allow him to impose a secret left-wing agenda. She writes: “Just like me they believe Obama is practicing stealth politics with a degree of sophistication and success with which ‘even Lenin would be impressed.’…Obama knows that he must be subtle and reassure even the most conservative of his opponents if he is to achieve his radical goals.”
They make the following claims: Obama was only pretending to lean towards the political center. In fact, he is a committed partisan of the far Left, whose pragmatic centrist strategy is but a shield for the real agenda he will deliver on in the future. Mark Rudd therefore see him as a genius, who understands that a more left-wing Congress will turn against him later. In the meantime, he has the public’s support for small steps, that will become large once momentum is built. It is a strategy of: “feint to the right, move left.” The progressive second string appointments like John Podesta will really be the ones to make policy—not his main Cabinet picks.
