Maybe, Yogi Could Phrase it Better…

Published by iChef Politikos at 1:12 pm under All, News, Op / Ed, Politikos

It aint over until it is, and until it is, it aint!

And I still think that McCain has a better than good chance of winning this thing. Why?

Because none of this makes sense to me. I feel like I’m on the television show LOST. It doesn’t make sense, the characters constantly piss me off and I love them at the same time, and worst of all I can’t stop watching or trying to figure it out!

I really don’t think Obama will be better for this country. I mean that, his ideas of this country are different than mine.
I don’t believe he’s genuine—at all! I think he has said a lot of things to get elected, but his words written and spoken from the past and present have said different.

Can I be wrong? Yes, but I may also be right. There can be fundamental differences in what people want and how to get there. One side doesn’t have to be wrong, but the truth is the truth. Parsing words is parsing words and is not the truth. Just because you want something doesn’t mean you should make excuses or rationalizations to have it.

The whole world doesn’t want Obama to be president yet we are made to believe this is true—because they want to make it happen.

Obama was leading the polls when going against Hillary and still lost in big states. (WHat’s this all about? Is this an aberration or do I need new glasses?: IBD/TIPP: Obama +2, under 50% by Ed Morrissey

Obama said he will raise taxes. It’s going to happen, not maybe, going to! the only thing we don’t know because he keeps moving the bar is who will be paying them—I don’t want higher taxes, we pay enough taxes! We pay taxes on the money we make and everything we buy. We even pay taxes on money we’ve made that makes money…

95% were going to get a tax cut, when 95% of people in this country don’t even pay taxes—how can you get a tax break when you don’t pay taxes?
A tax hike was only going to apply to businesses and individuals making 300k or higher (including small businesses) and the rhetoric keeps changing—we are now down to rich and taxable at 70k because that’s where Obama says the middle class maxed out at.

A controversy earlier in the campaign came up about coal plants and it looked like Biden misspoke saying they weren’t for clean coal burning plants. That was clarified by Obama by saying that it wasn’t true—today the audio tape comes out with Obama saying his policies would bankrupt any coal burning plants—but you can do it. See the parse?

Obama’s saying that he won’t take any questions until after the election—this is Sunday voting is on Tuesday. What the hell is that? Who does he think he is? He thinks he will be protected by the media on this because they have protected him this entire time! I thought We decide these things not a candidate! Imagine interviewing somebody for a job and they say, no, sorry I won’t be answering any more questions… Would you give them a job? Of course not! Obama is afraid if any more information comes out about him he won’t get elected—what does that tell you? Is that the kind of person who should be President? Not in my mind! Obama: I won’t answer questions until after the election by Ed Morrissey

A profile in political courage this is not. Given his recent gaffe on redistributionism, though, it’s probably smart. ABC’s Jake Tapper tried to get Obama to talk about his plans for the economic rescue plan, but Obama refused.

The media said they were partially to blame for Iraq because they didn’t do their jobs thoroughly and here they are again not doing their job. But this time the ramifications are so much greater!

Hypocrisy alert: How do they have the cojones???

Conyers calls for investigation into Aunti Zeituni info leak; Joe the Plumber still on his own
By Michelle Malkin

I predicted the totally predictable last night. And so it has come to pass: The left-wing fairweather friends of privacy are all over the leak of Aunti Zeituni’s immigration info — while Joe The Plumber remains persona non grata. Democrat Rep. John Conyers has already called for a federal investigation. The WaPo is already up with an A-section story on the anonymous leak. And the liberal blogs are up in arms.

The Anchoress: No Coal Power, No Questions in Obamaland – UPDATED

I don’t know why the McCain camp is not running constant ads – at least in PA and Virginia, highlighting Obama’s admission that – given the opportunity – he’ll bankrupt any new coal plants.

Let’s not keep Botox Joe out of the conversation. From Hotair’s Ed Morrissey Coal Association: Hey, Obama looks a little hostile!

I know that we live in a Democracy not a dictatorship so my faith in the system is greater than my fear in the possibilities of OBAMA, PELOSI, and REID… That’s how I sleep at night and that I have HOPE that McCain Palin will win this election

I agree that McCain/Palin has a good chance to win as well. Polls historically favor the Dems right up to the exit poll and always underestimate the Rep. candidates actual numbers. The MSM has acted more openly partisan in this election than any other which means (to a reasonable and prudent person) that everything is tainted towards Obama. The “masses” of new young voters registered that will vote for Obama turned out to be either ACORN induced or do not exist. There have been the same numbers in the last two elections and the Rep. candidate won. The one demographic that will be different will be the black vote and I anticipate it will be substantial when compared to past elections. The USA is still right of center and I can’t imagine people staying home to let the most liberal candidate in history take the reins. Undecided voters, I believe, are substantially McCain/Palin supporters who are unwilling to say so for fear of being labeled as racists or just prefer not to explain their vote. I believe there are many women that want to vote for a woman vice president but its not “cool” to say it but when the curtain closes they will. I predict McCain/Palin will win with the caveat that election fraud didn’t already steal the election from them.

I too, have to say, what is to be undecided about except that they don’t want to be judged by not voting for Obama. They don’t want to look bad in the eyes of the people asking the polling questions.

Voting is done in private for the reason of taking away any pressure from others—and I believe that will be the tipping point for McCain!

I have no evidence, just common sense, and hope…
