Those who are saying it’s fanaticism to use words like Communism, Socialism, MARXISM, aren’t paying attention! Word on the street is, “Obama isn’t talking about Socialism Socialism, he’s only talking like European Socialism.”

I, like many have sounded the Socialists are Coming bell!
Nobody seems to care!
Like Santa Claus coming to town in that big red suit with all his hard working oppressed elves, promising presents for nothing except obedience!
Nobody seems to care!
The ambivalence and or resistance to act is quite puzzling to myself and others. The question is why? Socialism, Communism, Marxism were words that sent shivers up and down any self respecting, freedom loving red blooded American! I’m sure that some people would take offense to that kind of label these days.
We are now all One World all joined at the hips—by chains!
Is it possible that there are no more self respecting, freedom loving red blooded Americans left??? Or is it that WE‘ve been made to feel bad about admitting that WE are… After all there’s no room for country pride, more specifically American pride, in the new world—everywhere else is where IT’s at!
We left Europe—not to become Europe!
Back in the day, Better dead than red, the saying went. Nothing was worse than being called a commie accept maybe a commie pinko!
Nobody seems to remember!
Nowadays nobody even knows what a commie pinko was. Young punks, old liberal hippies wear shirts with images of Che Guevara’s mug on ‘em, or the red star of communism, symbolizing rebellion—ironically those images also symbolize great oppression and anti-freedom! Makes me laugh and cry at the same time! The kids have no idea what they are doing—sheep’s to the slaughter!

The young and old of this country have sacrificed and died to prevent those images and ideologies from spreading around the planet. The young and old that were FORCED to live under those ideologies around the planet have died oppressed under those ideologies… People are now glorifying those images as heroes, rebels for the people, blah, blah blah.
Nobody seems to care!
People want something for nothing, they like the idea of somebody else taking care of them! They like the idea of somebody else paying for it! They like the idea of someone else having to worry! But that’s the farce, it doesn’t really work like that in a free society. Somebody has to pay for it! somebody has to sweat for it! Somebody has to work for it!
Nothing is free, you know that—there’s no free lunch, somebody MUST pay!
You can avoid paying your debt off because the banks keep giving you more credit, they don’t want you to be free—EVER! They want you in debt for the rest of your lives—you see that! Yet the idea of something for free hypnotizes you! Makes you a doorstop! Somebody tells you free health care for everybody—you don’t question how that is possible.
Somebody tells you only the rich will be taxed—you don’t ask how that’s fair. Somebody promises you everything and tells you it won’t cost you anything—you don’t say that’s impossible!
The problem that has been MisUnderEstimated is that people are open and welcoming to Socialism—because they’ve been told how bad things are over and over and over again—It must be true! They believe their lives are a disaster even though for most of them nothing has really changed except perception—that has been pounded into their heads!
Now I’m not saying that everything is perfect—far from it, but who promised you a rose garden? Who told you that life would only be easy, and perfect, and fair?
Life is what you make of it and having the freedom to make of it what you wish is the best part of life! Something for free—I don’t think so—somebody has to pay and it’s all of us!
When you don’t care about the past you are doomed to repeat it…

is what you infer… We’ll leave the communism part alone here because I don’t see your connection.
It seems that you are using a misdirection or non sequitur and I will play!
My guess is that you use the “predatory lending” thing as a way to shift blame away from the people you know to have ownership—politicians that wanted people to own homes that couldn’t afford them and forced banks to provide the loans, then bundled these phoney-baloney-not going-to be paid off-in this-lifetime—or any other, loans off to ponzi scheme schemers that eventually wanted a chair to sit in when the music stopped.
You blame predatory lending because you don’t want people to have any accountability, common sense or use any critical thinking skills—you want them blameless, sheep to be slaughtered on your terms!
Now, I’m not saying that people don’t have dreams and that other people won’t take advantage of that want, but knock it off—all people aren’t morons! All people aren’t buying what you’re type is selling!
Tell us the truth—you suffer from BushDerangementSyndrome don’t you? Predatory lending—hahahaha!

Oh, and by the way, giving homes to poor people who can’t afford it in the first place (getting all those votes—you betcha!) knowing good and well they won’t be able to pay for them and then having the rest of us PAY for the disaster after… (Yes, some people need protection, but that protection was in place when the banks were allowed to decide who could payback loans and who couldn’t—then the government stepped and Socialized it!)
Government handouts to every mistake the general population makes…

Well put and great read! I would liken the Obam followers (I would not necessarily call them anything else) to lemmings. The only difference is that the leader won’t be jumping.

We’ve done it. We’ve found another thing we can agree on. Why was it necessary for the government to bail out the mortgage industry? If the bankers were crazy (stupid) enough to write those mortgages and the buyers were stupid (no other word for it) enough to sign on the dotted line then they should all live with the consequences. You can’t pay for your house so you lose it. I understood that when I signed my mortgage papers. I made sure that I understood how it worked and that I would be able to pay for it.
As for Wall St, I have no money so I lost no money but I sat right there and heard all of the so called experts say “don’t sell”, “sit on it” and then everyone went and sold. So why are the rest of us going to have to pay for it?
Honestly, I don’t know how Pelosi ended up in Congress. Every time I here something she has said I wonder why she even opens her mouth.
You see that Gail, we can agree!
The only thing that can explain Pelosi is San Francisco! My favorite city to play in! The most dangerous big city in America!
