Simple can be fantastic!

It really doesn’t get better than good ingredients!
Fresh salmon fillet and asparagus—that’s it, okay, Fresh cracked S&P and olive oil, but that’s it! I did sprinkle a little Parmesan on the asparagus…
Broiled together and done at the same time! I’m sorry flavor/effort ratio was off the charts!
The salmon was so moist, so fresh, so not fishy flavored—like butta! The asparagus was nutty, al dente and a super compliment to the salmon. Washed down with a Sauvignon Blanc from KJ—oh my! Fantastic!
Sooooo Goooood!

HAH! You did NOT get me tonight, no sir! I went to the farmers market yesterday, and I bought fresh asparagus, and I scored fresh salmon at Whole Foods this morning (okay, so it’s only Coho; I’m on a budget). SCORE!
I’m sure it will never happen again. Undoubtedly the next time you post something mouthwatering I’ll be stirring up a skillet of leftover ham and a box of red beans and rice.
