Taxes!
I have a couple of questions for all you, “We don’t pay enough taxes,” We need to pay more taxes!,” “I don’t mind paying a little extra for everyone else,” “It’s patriotic to pay more taxes!,” crowd.
When you do your taxes at the end of the year—do you look for tax breaks? You know, ways to reduce your tax burden?
Do you hire someone else to prepare your taxes, because they are just so damned complicated or is it so that you will save some money?
Do you look for tax credits, shelters, places to hide your money so it won’t be taxed?
How dare you!
And if you said, “No.” —I would check your pants, I think they’re on fire! Liar!
