Angry Hypocrites—Tell Us… What do you think you know?

Published by iChef Politikos at 5:19 am under All, News, Politikos

I’ve heard a lot about people from people who think different than the people they’re talking about. I heard people today talk about people they didn’t even know 2 days ago like they’ve known about them for years (this included people who don’t even pay close attention to the news) Where did they get their information? They heard about it 3rd, 4th, and 5th hand—no checking facts or claims—that would get in the way of what they want to believe. Why did they get this information—because they wanted to find out something positive or were they digging for dirt? Why are these people so willing to look for this information when they don’t even know about their own candidate? Hmm.

These people know more unchecked facts and stories and can talk about their adversary (opponent, rival, enemy, antagonist, combatant, challenger, contender, competitor, opposer; opposition, competition, foe) more than they can tell me about their own candidates—I find that fact very interesting… Disturbing.

Someone once said, “when I’m getting stock tips from the shoeshine boy it’s time to sell everything.”

I have more hope than that about our country then to sell everything. I believe in people, even if they’re sight is skewed today. I also believe that we can get along even if we believe in different ideas. I believe that whomever wins this election WE as a country will be ok. We don’t live in a dictatorship. Our democracy is like a pendulum and it swings both ways hitting the center most often. There seems to be a lot of angry people out there. You might be angry because you’re without hope or your have been told over and over that it’s hopeless. Look into it.

Since WE all know about the monsters on the conservative side here’s a little quiz about the people we all want running our country (and yes, all patriots everyone!—I saw the Spielberg movie at the 2008 Dem Convention):

Tell us 3 things that Joe Biden has accomplished:

  • I mean besides plagiarizing and constantly making false statements.
  • I mean besides bloviating versus asking questions at Senate hearings.
  • I mean besides talking out of both sides of his mouth. (the next day he said he never said it… Joe is very good at this!)

Tell us 3 things that Joe Biden is for: ???

Voting Record:

  • Joe voted for the Iraq war!
  • Joe voted to retreat in defeat (called it something else) from the war he voted for!
  • Joe Babble

Tell us 3 things that Hillary Clinton has accomplished without being married to ex President Bill Clinton? (would we know who she is without her husband’s success?) (I included Hillary here so you will have the facts to compare as Sarah Palin will be compared to her today and down the road…)

  • I mean besides staying married to the Governor of Arkansas
  • I mean besides messing up Hillary-Care to the point nothing has been done to solve the health care dilemma in 16 years.
  • I mean besides staying married to a man who repeatedly cheats on her, knowingly sends her out to defend him for cheating, and when the truth is disclosed she stays with him because she’s no one without him.
  • I mean besides receiving a promised a US Senate seat for her silence AND OBEDIENCE.

Tell us what Hillary Clinton is for: Pro-choice, socialized health care, raising taxes for social programs, open borders and rights for illegal aliens.

Voting Record:

  • Hillary voted for the Iraq war!
  • Hillary voted to retreat in defeat (she claims never to be for it) from the war she voted for!
  • Mixed messages

Tell us 3 things that Barack Obama has accomplished:

  • I mean besides being a 1 term State Senator
  • I mean besides being elected to the US Senate since 2005, 2 years has been spent running for President.
  • I mean besides being the Keynote speaker at the 2004 Democratic Convention.
  • I mean besides running a successful Democratic Primary Campaign and nominated by his party (the underdog beating out presumptive candidate and front runner Hillary Clinton)

Tell us what Barack Obama is for: Pro-choice, socialized health care, raising taxes for social programs, open borders and rights for illegal aliens.

Voting Record:

  • Big Senate Votes: No to going to war in Iraq. Yes, retreat in defeat from Iraq,
  • Barack Obama has missed 290 votes (45.5%) during the current Congress.
  • Barack Obama has voted with a majority of his Democratic colleagues 96.0% of the time during the current Congress. This percentage does not include votes in which Obama did not vote.
  • Obama’s voting record by WashingtonPost

CNN: Larry King, had Jesse the Body Ventura (proWrestler and ex-governor of Minnesota), Dee Dee Myers (ex-President Clinton Press Secretary), and D L Hughley (Comedian) for Republican National Convention analysis.

MSNBC: Keith Olbermann, reported that he counted how many times Fred Thompson had to clear his throat during his speech at the Republican National Convention—72 was reported.
