The Day After Yesterday
It’s over! Obama is the new President and WE should all hope for him to do his best! WE should hope that he SUCCEEDS! His success means success for all of us!
I’m certainly glad it’s over and now the real work begins. I’m reflecting back to the days after the past two Presidential elections and I have to be glad for a couple of reasons…
Well, a few things WE won’t have to put up with:
- Crying that the Dems lost, there was voter Disembowelment, or that the election was somehow stolen.
- Rooms full of people with their heads in their hands exclaiming the world is over!
- Long lines at the mental clinics because they have post election depression or post election derangement syndrome.
- The vitriol, anger, and words of rebellion will not be present.
- And, I can be glad that the CONSTANT blame for everything including natural disasters will now have to be SPREAD around. (we will see how long GWB’s name stays around to be kicked—at least 4 years would be my guess. BDS will be around a loooong time!)
- Cries of Victimization and excuses.
Of course the media will be critical and go back to reporting versus making news again—Maybe, truth will have a comeback!
You see, we won’t have this behavior, because the Dems won this time. And as long as they win… Let’s watch to see if the Republicans or Conservatives act like spoiled children who didn’t get their way.
Yes, there might be a handful of cry babies, but it won’t last long, and will not be widespread. Oh, and those that do act that way will get a big SHUT UP! from me and other Conservatives—Because we don’t play that homie!
As for myself, I believe what I wrote last night. WE are all Americans, I believe, give you my chance, and will hope, and vote, and challenge, and debate, for the what’s best for this country!
There will be no free lunch! Oh yeah, I forgot…
