Who’s to blame?

Really? That’s a question? —More of what’s wrong with us as a people. What a freaken shame!
Let’s take a look at a couple of things including the question in question.
Is the question:
- who is to blame for trampling a real live person to real live death?
- or is the question, who is legally to blame?
- or is the question, who can be compelled to pay for the death?
- or is the question, who should pay?
- or is the question, who can lawyers blame and compel by our legal system to make pay?
How about personal responsibility? How about that question?
Human beings pushed their way over the top of another human being because they wanted to buy a present and save a couple of dollars… I don’t know what more to say.
- If you were the one on top.
- If you were the one pushing the one on top.
- If you were the one pushing the one pushing the one on top.
- If you were all the way in the back and leaning on the person in front of you…
- If you walked by.
- If you could have done something and didn’t.
You’re all to blame!
But my guess is that we will blame the store and corporation for not doing something they should have done, probably the security person and a manager for some how causing the death because they should have known. There will be not personal responsibility taken—it’s always someone else’s fault…
You will here all kinds of ways it could have been prevented and procedures that should have been in place in anticipation—how pathetic! Yes, responsibility should also fall on providing a safe environment if you’re running a business—but how pathetic that you have to be prepared for such a disgusting display of killer behavior!
You decide:
Merry Christmas!
